Reading the Vida dashboard (sections 01 to 04)

01 Overall Compliance by Domain

One hero tile for RSQ® (Risk, Safety, Quality: documentation compliance against indicators tied to malpractice risk and patient safety). It is the only domain with live data; FFS, VBC and IPA are hidden until their data connects.

  • The ring: read the color before the number (green 85+, amber 60 to 84, red below 60).
  • Trend: compared to the prior window of the same length.
  • Counters: charts audited, providers and facilities. Quote them alongside the score; 78% on 31,000 charts and 78% on 300 charts are different claims.

02 Compliance by Chief Complaint

  • Weighted mean: chart-weighted, so busy complaints move it more. If it looks worse than most rows, your highest-volume complaints are the weak ones.
  • Sort: Lowest to Highest (default), Highest to Lowest, Greatest Improvement, Greatest Decline.
  • Rows: score, trend, chart and provider volume. A Goal chip appears when a complaint goal exists.

The complaint drill-down

Click any row to see its indicators, worst first, four per page, with a teal goal tick on each bar. The Overall row stays pinned at the bottom. From here you can:

  • Filter dashboard to this complaint: sections 01, 03, 04 and 05 recompute for that complaint. Clear it from the chip in the context bar.
  • Set goal or Goal N% · Edit for the complaint (see "Setting goals in Vida").

03 Risk Distribution by Facility and 04 by Provider

Both are histograms over six fixed bands: below 40, 40 to 49, 50 to 59 (red), 60 to 69, 70 to 79 (amber) and 80+ (green). Columns count facilities or providers, not charts.

  • Stats: Mean vs Median shows skew; Std Dev shows spread; Trend is the average period change.
  • Sparkle button: a written summary calculated from the same numbers as the chart (not an AI model), including who is below 60% and a warning when spread is 10+ points.
  • Click a column to list the facilities or providers in that band. Search, sort by any column, and click a row for its 90-day trend.
  • Legend counts use the true Excellent line (85+), so a facility at 82% sits in the green column but is not counted as Excellent. Quote legend counts in reports.

Key difference between 03 and 04

Section 03 always shows the whole system. Section 04 follows the scope select, so choosing one facility shows the spread of providers inside that site. Scope to a facility, then read 04: that is the most useful view for a medical director.
